Clearstream Partners with Azimut to Expand Digital Solutions for Private Market Funds

Clearstream, Deutsche Börse Group’s post-trade services provider, is prioritizing private market assets as a key growth area. CEO Samuel Riley highlighted the segment’s rapid expansion, with over €300bn in assets currently managed on its Vestima platform. Vestima, which processes mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative funds, spans 245,000 funds across 55 markets.

The firm has teamed up with Azimut, an asset and wealth manager, to develop a digital solution aimed at streamlining private market fund distribution. The pilot project focuses on automation, cost reduction, and broader access to fund repositories. Giorgio Medda, Azimut’s CEO, underscored the collaboration’s potential to enhance efficiency in private market transactions.
